Habaneros in Gardendale

The food was okay. The service was fast and the food was hot. When paying the check I had to wait for the cashier to get off her cell phone, oh no one thanked me for my business.

Nasty. Surprised it has not been closed down. The whole restaurant is nasty, dust all on the walls and ceiling and the floor feels like it has never been cleaned.

The food was good, but the service was actually a bit slow. There's normally doesn't happen. We go there quite often. The price is definitely good as well. Especially compared to the Mexican place in Fultondale that is gotten really expensive lately! We will definitely be back though. Thank you!

I have been to this restaurant many times before but on yesterday apparently you all was short-staffed and it made for a horrible 9mm experience but I will be back to give you another opportunity but you need more service on the floor and they should all be bilingual

The food is "American style" Mexican food, and usually very good. The pricing is reasonable for main dishes, and everything seems fresh. The wait staff is friendly, and the majority of the time, the wait is short after you order. The atmosphere is colorful and lively, and makes for a good place to have dinner or lunch with friends.

The salsa doesn't taste the same as it use too. It was too watered down! The beef and chicken burrito wasn't as good as before either.

I have always loved Habaneros. Unfortunately the last few times I've been there, the food quality has steadily fallen. This last visit the salsa tasted like they had added cilantro to a can of Hunts tomato sauce. My wife ordered the taco salad and there was so much liquid in the bottom of the bowl that it may as well have been taco soup. I ordered the fajitas nachos supreme and there were maybe 10 pieces of chicken, steak and shrimp combined, hardly any refried beans and the item with the most taste in the dish was the sour cream. Food quality will have to vastly improve for us to go back. Sorry Habaneros. I so used to love eating there.

I had the ground beef chimichanga with a frozen margarita and I left very unimpressed. The ground beef reminded me of canned meat and the margarita had way too much triple sec in it. The service was exceptional.

The food was terrific, and the service was spot on. The server was a little overly ambitious to refill drinks. Took a drink, he refilled.

The food was pretty good but when we arrived our server was sitting in a booth 2 behind ours. We sat for a while before another server had to go alert him we were there. They have a bar but no cranberry juice. I asked for water and had to remind twice to get it. If they stepped up the level of service they would be doing great!

Very loud talk radio the entire time decent food but the fried ice cream was not good.

The service was terrible. They were not friendly at all. The fajitas came out on a regular plate instead of the hot plate. Terrible experience. I will most definitely NOT be back!!

The staff was very nice but the food was bland and the salsa seemed to be made from tomato paste.

There is a high quantity of food and the food is of high quality. The meals typically aren't very expensive and are fresh. Highly recommended to eat here!

The food was delicious abd the service is quick. Not to mention their margaritas are huge and delicious. They put enough alcohol in the top shelf frozen ones to hit the spot. The price is reasonable and for the most part it taste like your typical Mexican food but the decor is better and the servers are friendly.

The "salsa" is basically weak ketchup and the food lacked seasoning. The other Mexican restaurants in the area are significantly better.

This place has some of the best salsa I've ever ate!! The food is always delicious and comes out faster than most places! The employees are sweet and make sure you stay full on your drinks. Their Long Island Ice Teas are also amazing! You wont regret going here we are always stuffed and extremely satisfied when we leave here!

Not crazy about their margaritas. Food is good but not my favorite Mexican restaurant.

Clean and the food is awesome

The steak was a little dry but good. The beans were solid. But I'm not very picky. Rice was a bit dry but overall not too bad. I did enjoy my pina colada margarita. Would return if I was in the area.
